Try This Tulip Time Inspired Frozen "Blue Tulip Margarita" Recipe

Try Our Blue Tulip Margarita!

To celebrate both Tulip Time and Cinco De Mayo, we created a frozen blueberry margarita that’s so delicious you’ll be drinking it all summer long! Combining Tanglewood Winery’s Blue Silk, tequila, blue Curaçao, triple sec, lime juice, and ice, all you have to do is blend, garnish, and enjoy! 


Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Servings: 4 Servings

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup of Blue Silk 
  • 3/4 cup of blue Curaçao
  • 1/2 cup of tequila
  • 1/4 cup of triple sec
  • 2 tbsp. of lime juice
  • 5 cups of ice (or more, depending on your preferences)
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Lime wedges
  • 1 tbsp. of granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of kosher salt

 

Instructions: 

  1. Mix sugar and salt in a small dish. Then, use a lime wedge to coat the rims of your margarita glasses and dip them into the sugar-salt mixture.
  2. In a blender, combine Blue Silk, tequila, blue Curaçao, triple sec, lime juice, and ice. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thin for your liking, add more ice and blend again.
  3. Pour the slushie mixture into 4 margarita glasses and garnish with lime wedges and fresh blueberries.
  4. Sit back, relax, and let this frozen wine margarita transport you to the beach.
